Who am I? I ask myself this question a lot.

Do you even know who you are? Do you know who you want to be?

“No.”

Why, not?

“Because I never got the chance to be me.”

It was always…“You’re doing it wrong.”

“Wear this instead.”

“No, that’s ugly.”

“You look a mess.”

“Keep your hair like that, that’s our signature style.”

“No!”

“I want to do it my way.”

“I want to wear what I pick out.”

“It is not ugly.”

“I look beautiful.”

“It is not OUR signature style… It is YOURS.”

Stop messing with my life! Telling me what to do, what to say, and what to wear! You don’t know who I am or what I think or how I feel.
