Justin Bieber – Yummy

Memorial Day has passed and June is here! Time is flying by for the year 2020 and I decided to cook a dish I knew that brings me comfort. I make lasagna pretty often and it is one of my go-to’s especially when I want something filling to eat. Lasagna is such a comfort meal and one of my favorite recipes from my childhood. It is one of the easiest dishes to make and perfect for big families and the holidays. Keep reading to learn more about how I make my lasagna.

What You’ll Need

  • 1 Jar of Prego Sauce
  • 1 lb of Turkey Meat
  • 3lbs of shredded cheese
  • 4oz of Cream Cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Seasonings of your choice
  • 12 Lasagna Noodles
  • Pan to bake it in

Directions

I’m going to try to break it down as much as I can. If I am not clear in some areas, please don’t hesitate to leave a suggestion or comment below and ask questions. Of course use whatever materials you would like to substitute in place of mines.

  1. Boil your lasagna noodles on high heat until they are about almost cooked through. I think the word they use is al dente, but just a little past that. I don’t like my noodles to be too firm. So about 10 – 12 minutes is good.
  2. While the noodles are boiling, start cooking your meat in a non stick pan. Use medium heat until the meat is browned. Feel free to add anything extra like crushed tomatoes, onions, minced garlic, and your seasonings! I like using turkey meat as an alternative for beef.
  3. Everything should be about close to done and so you can start layering your noodles in the pan you are going to use to bake.
  4. Get your pan and layer your noodles, then add your sauce, meat, and cheese + repeat!
  5. Bake in oven on 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.

This is the final look of the lasagna. I did not have cream cheese so I decided to try something new and used sour-cream as a substitute. It turned out better than I thought and bon appetit! You have a fulfilling, yummy dish that can last you a few days. Don’t forget to bake some garlic bread with it or dress you up a salad. What is your favorite homemade dish to make?
